Munevver

Born in Turkey and now based in Vancouver, Munevver is an award-winning language instructor and linguist with over twenty years of experience in teaching, academic leadership, and cross-cultural education. She holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics (High Honors, Top Graduate) from Boğazaçi University, a Pedagogical Diploma, and a Bachelor’s degree in Translation Studies. Her academic work has been presented at international conferences across Europe and Canada, with a particular focus on Turkish linguistics, morphology, and discourse analysis. A native speaker of Turkish with near-native fluency in English, Munevver brings a linguistically informed, research-driven, and student-centered approach to teaching Turkish. Her pedagogy integrates academic rigor with inclusive practices and intercultural awareness.
