Gülener

Gülener is an academic, educator, journalist, and program coordinator with experience in curriculum development, university teaching, and educational and organizational coordination across different

institutions. He holds a PhD in Political Science, with academic expertise in language and discourse, multilingualism, cultural and religious history, and the sociology of religion. Alongside his academic work, he has worked in journalism and media for many years and continues to produce and host current-affairs content in multiple languages. He is also the co-founder and producer of Çeviri Konuşmalar, a multilingual intellectual platform that curates, translates, and subtitles talks and interviews from across literature,

philosophy, the social sciences, and history for Turkish-speaking audiences. Gülener has taught Turkish, English, and French for many years and has extensive experience working in multilingual learning environments. A native Turkish speaker, he is fluent in English, French, and Ottoman Turkish, with an intermediate command of Spanish. At Halbuki, he brings together his experience in teaching, curriculum development, coordination, communication, and multilingual education.
