Ercan

Ercan is a linguist and experienced Turkish instructor with a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Boğaziçi University. He has over 20 years of experience teaching Turkish at all levels at institutions including Boston University, Brown University, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he also built and led Turkish language programs. In addition to teaching, he has trained graduate instructors in language pedagogy and second language acquisition, and has developed curricula, textbooks, and assessment materials for Turkish as a less commonly taught language. His work combines strong expertise in Turkish linguistics with a student-centered, communicative approach to language teaching.
