This course includes 8 weeks of live online Zazaki classes (one 1.5 hour session per week) - a total of 15 hours of instruction, and additional homework review and support from instructors in between class sessions. Note that we offer scholarships to everyone who needs them. The classes include Zazaki grammar explanations, vocabulary and conversational practice, as well as introduction of Zaza cultural competency topics through relevant history and media. This course covers the first 8 chapters of textbook, including the following topics: * the Zazaki alphabet and pronunciation * greetings * the copula / the verb “to be” in the present tense * negation * work and professions * gender (m/f) * telephone calls * the plural with casus rectus (nominative) * numbers, ages * casus obliquus (second case) of personal pronouns * the ezafe construction with nouns, absolute ezafe * demonstrative pronouns * time * phonetics of the Eastern-Dersim vernacular (and other dialects upon student request) * present tense

No refunds for missed classes. However, we do record classes to share with students who missed class whenever asked to do so in advance, so if you know you will miss class, please let us know and our instructors will record the session and share it with you afterwards so you can follow along asynchronous.
