Turkish Pre-Intermediate III (Group A)

This course includes 10 weeks of live (online/in-person) Turkish classes (one 1.5 hour session per week) - a total of 15 hours of instruction, and additional homework review and support from instructors in between class sessions. This class can be attended either online from anywhere around the world via our online learning platform which connects students with instructors with video and a virtual class board. The number of students in the class is between 3 and 7. The classes include Turkish grammar explanations, vocabulary and conversational practice, as well as introduction of cultural competency topics through relevant history and media. This class focuses on grammar and vocabulary from Chapter 21 of the Elementary Turkish Textbook by Kurtuluş Öztopçu, including the following: Discussing Turkish holidays, customs, celebrations, and social invitations, learning to offer, accept, and decline offers. Grammar topics include the optative mood, intensive adjectives, verbal nouns like "-mA" and "-(y)Iş," and relative suffix "+ki."
