Modern Greek Intermediate II Group

8 weeks of Modern Greek group language classes (one 1.5 hour session per week) - 12 hours of instruction, and additional homework review and support from instructors in between class sessions. This class is part of the 3rd year of our Greek Program, which brings students to B1 Modern Greek CEFR competency. In this level, students’ grammar learning focuses on turning direct questions into indirect questions, understanding the absence of articles, learning phonetic phenomena such as assimilation. Students continue to practice reading articles and reviews. Students build their vocabulary through texts and discussions related to nature and ecology, recycling, and human relationships. Speaking skills developed include the ability to argue and discuss environmental and social issues using appropriate vocabulary and structures.
