Modern Greek Advanced Beginner V

8 weeks of Modern Greek group language classes (one 1.5 hour session per week) - 12 hours of instruction, and additional homework review and support from instructors in between class sessions. This class is part of the 2nd year of our Greek Program, which brings students to A2 Modern Greek CEFR competency. Building towards Intermediate I, this level delves into complex relative and result clauses in Greek, reviews the Greek imperative mood, and introduces vocabulary for discussing environmental and social issues in Greek. Grammar focus includes Greek relative pronouns, relative clauses, Revision of the imperative mood, result clauses, and Vocative case. Vocabulary covered at this level includes discussing nature and ecology, recycling, and human relationships in Greek. Students develop speaking skills for arguing and discussing environmental and social issues using appropriate vocabulary and structures in Greek.
