Children's Turkish Class Age 8-12 Spring

Service Description

This course includes 8 weeks of Turkish language classes (one 2 hour session per week) - 16 hours of instruction. This is an in-person group class for children ages 8-12 in Cupertino on Sundays. The classes are taught by 2 instructors and are geared to heritage speakers. This class will focus on expanding the kids' Turkish, improving sentence structure, learning foundational grammar concepts, and developing reading and writing skills. They will also learn about Turkish culture and history through group discussions, role-playing, and interactive lessons. Activities will include collaborative projects like crafting traditional Turkish items, participating in skits and exploring Turkish folklore and geography through games and stories. Class sizes will be between 5 and 12 students.
