Service Description
This course includes 8 weeks of classes (one 1.5 hour session per week) - a total of 12 hours of instruction, and additional homework review and support from instructors in between class sessions. This class can be attended online from anywhere around the world or in-person at our location in Oakland, California, near the Rockridge Bart Station (exact address provided after signing up). The number of students in the class is between 3 and 7. This class covers grammar and vocabulary from Chapters 28-29 of the Elementary Turkish Textbook by Kurtuluş Öztopçu, including the following topics: Practicing telephone conversations, discussing daily routines, describing cities, and asking for help. Grammar includes politeness markers, abilitative suffix "-(y)Abil," the causative mood, past progressive, habitual past, and conditional tense. The classes include grammar explanations, vocabulary and conversational practice, as well as introduction of cultural competency topics through relevant history and media.
